# Loopring Smart Wallet Guide

Loopring Protocol is a high-performance decentralized transaction protocol built on Ethereum. We hope to provide a secure transaction infrastructure for the entire industry, enhance the trading experience of crypto asset holders, and promote the new generation of financial systems' development. We firmly believe that Ethereum Layer2 (especially zkRollups) is the future development trend.

With the Loopring protocol, DeFi users do not have to choose between security and performance. On the premise of ensuring Ethereum-level security, Loopring's layer2 expansion technology also provides a low-cost, fast transaction and transfer experience.

Loopring's goal is to design and implement the best zkRollup-based decentralized trading protocol on Ethereum, while supporting order book matching and automatic market maker (AMM) flash trading.

Loopring ecology has made great progress through development in recent years. Loopring is the first layer2 project listed on Coinbase, and it also launched almost all top cryptocurrency exchanges.

**Loopring currently has two products, Loopring smart wallet, and Loopring decentralized trading platform.**

Loopring Smart Wallet is the world's first Ethereum smart wallet supported by zkRollup. Compared with traditional wallets, Loopring Smart Wallet integrates Loopring’s zero-knowledge proof that the second-layer expansion protocol is safe, fast, easy to use, and money-saving.

Loopring's decentralized trading platform is also based on zkRollup technology, which can compete with centralized exchanges in terms of speed, cost and experience, while providing users with much higher security than centralized exchanges.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://loopring-org.gitbook.io/en/loopring_wallet_group/loopring-smart-wallet-en.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
